Deborah Kerr is a trained fashion designer with a B.A. in Fine Arts. For the past 15 years she has traveled to the Brazilian rain forest and has been deeply inspired by the rich vegetation and the people who call it home.

She has befriended many of the indigenous
groups and learned about their rituals and celebrations.

"Every detail of their daily lives has been a revelation and very inspiring—from the patterns of their clothes to the body paint, tools, basketry and pottery."

Deborah designs jewelry pieces using wild, indigenous seeds, nuts and pods. Holding true to the unique, bold, colorful and lively Latin American culture and the breathtaking landscape of the Amazon region. She purchases materials directly from the indigenous groups and therefore contributes to their local economy.
